Zoo

During its history, Kiev's zoo passed a long way from an ordinary public wild beast show to one of the largest zoos in Europe.

Here you can see 81 species of animals, 149 species of birds, and various snakes and vipers, lizards and crocodiles. Here live several species of monkeys and bears, lions pride, lamas, and some animals from the Red Book: Przewalski's horses, lynxes, bisons, white-tailed eagle, horned owls, great white pelicans, long-tailed owls and others.

And the most honourable dweller of Kiev's zoo is 70 y.o. Nile crocodile named Zhabik.
